The concept of Nude, with Horse, stems from a combination of a dream, and the memories of my sister’s my little pony collection, paired with my recent body of work that uses the thumb as a symbol for how we use our hands as the primary form of communication/miscommunication, i.e., through the constant influx of social media, text, tweet, email.
